Inspiration is indeed contagious. Having also grown up on Cape Cod, the beach and the ocean are still my heart, and I have always worked to leave them better than I find them. Seeing the impact of consumer and industrial waste, plastics, etc in some very remote parts of our planet can be overwhelming. Thank you for spreading the word that individual action can make a difference...when we pass our own inspiration on.

I'm fairly sure they used the American built Burger Boat "Ingot" as an example to show him. Odd that they would choose this as their example of a well built yacht. But then, it's hard to beat a Burger boat for sure and solid quality.

why on earth would you buy a chinese boat, the quality of the dutch boats is much better, you should better wait 50 years and see what happened with that chinese boat. I think it,s a rusty hutch. That stainless steel keel is the beginning of a lot of problems.

Dutch or German boat builders build top drawer yachts - not the Chinese...although the Taiwanese make excellent blue water trawler yachts (Nordhavn and Fleming).

mmmmm After watching this and while being busy with a conversion and extension of a 35m diesel powered to 45 m electric to then use the electric system in a new yacht it makes me think that it is maybe better to just find another yacht at the 45m range to then convert to my electric propulsion which will be designed and tested in the first. % years of all this is just such a waste of time. conversion on the 1st is taking 10 months to 1.2 years. Much faster.

How can I get one?

The video is very interesting and enjoyable but there needs to be a proper translation done for the parts that are in Dutch. The CC/subtitle translation is ridiculous. If it takes about 5 years to build a super yacht isn't there the possibility that it will already look a bit 'old-fashioned' when finished?

Interesting storytelling guys. Like it! I personally prefer aircraft, but after a lull of 40 years there's suddenly a lot of exciting stuff happening in hydroaviation. And in your world wings are becoming both hotter and cooler. So hopefully we'll meet one day ;-)
